When you buy from Géant we want you to be happy with your purchases. However, we know that sometimes you might need to return products. This page sets out the Géant policy for when you can return products, and how to return them.
Apart from the exceptions listed below in the “No Refund or Exchange” Products section, Géant will consider refunding or exchanging products that you return within seven days of the date of purchase. Refunds and exchanges are offered at the discretion of Géant Management, under the following terms and conditions:
1. You must produce the original invoice when claiming a refund or exchange.
2. The original box and packaging should be returned undamaged and in resalable condition.
3. If the returned Item includes stored data/information/pictures in any storage device, Géant takes no responsibility for the
transfer of this data to any other device and is not liable for any loss of data, information or pictures.
4. If you are unable to travel to the store, we can arrange pick-up for the items to be collected. However, a pick-up fee may apply.
“No Refund or Exchange” Products
The Department of Economic Development Dubai has stated that the following situations do not provide grounds for refund or exchange of certain goods:
1. If the customer changes their mind after purchasing the item
2. If the item is free from any defect
Accordingly, in these situations, Géant does not offer any return or exchange on the following items:
•Digital SLR cameras
•MP3 and MP4 players
•Books and Magazines
In addition Géant will not provide a refund or exchange for the following items if the packaging has been opened or tampered with:
•Printer ink cartridges
•CDs/Games and all accessories
All items purchased from Géant include a UAE warranty only, unless otherwise specified. Géant’s warranty does not cover the following:
1. Any loss of information or data stored on laptops, mobiles, tablets, HDDs or any other storage devices.
2. Problems due to misuse, liquid contamination or tampering by an unauthorized person or service centre.
3. Unauthorized modifications to the unit.
4. Accessories—keyboard, mouse, cables, batteries and consumables—are not covered under warranty.
5. Vacuum cleaner hose pipes, blender jars and blades are not covered under warranty.
1. Items submitted for repair may take a maximum of 10 to 15 working days, subject to availability of spare parts from the manufacturer.
2. Any warranty claim must be accompanied by the original invoice.
3. Géant will not be responsible for any repaired items that are not collected within 90 days.
Géant Grocery Returns
All our grocery items are handpicked and go through a quality checkpoint before packing and shipping. We ensure high quality and freshness upon delivery. However in some cases if the products are damaged or wrong products on delivery;
1. You can get the item replaced without any additional delivery charges.
2. You can get the refund of the damaged products;
3. If you paid by credit card the amount will be credited to the same within 24 hours after verifying the our product availability . We'll inform you about the unavailable product prior to order dispatching and refund will be made within 24 hours from that time.
4. If you chose “pay on delivery” option, the price of damaged/wrong product will be deducted from the final bill.
